We wanted a ring to honor the memory of our son who passed away. His birthday was in June (Alexandrite) and we're of Irish heritage. While the Claddagh isn't usually for this purpose, nothing else would do for us! Something with meaning, something timeless, like our love for our son. This ring is beautiful! I wear it always.
